United are **** compared to how we used to be, but we're still the best in the Premier League. We can forget about Champions League though.

Maybe this summer we will spend a bit of dollar and rebuild the midfield a bit though i'm not getting my hopes up considering the amount we've been spending recently, though Smalling and Hernandez were top bargain buys.

RVP has never scored more than 20 goals in 1 season in his career...

Rooney scored 34 last year.....20 the season before....

And rooney brings way more to a game than van persie....

Dont get me wrong, RVP is great....Just dont get too excited with saying hes better than rooney....

But I think I'm right in saying that RVP has never completed a 38 game season (28 games the most hes played), he has always had some injury which has prevented his progress.

I think hes played less game than Rooney this season but is murdering him in the "goals scored" category (10 in 15 games). If a 100% fit Van Persie played 38 games this season, he'd be up there with the top goalscorers.

Game isn't about goals I hope you know that. Most pf rooneys goals last year were tap ins and had couple penaltys.

Van persie is the best and most complete striker in england. Sure he gets hurt a lot but when he's fit he is the best. Not only does RvP define like a god but sets up so many plays that end up leading to a goal. RvP is a freekick threat, his dribbling and footwork is simply amazing.

If RvP had better bones and wasn't so injury prone he would be rated same as Ronaldo and Messi. Better than David Villa, Etoo, and Ibrah.

That's how good he is, shame not a lot of people take notice in his skills.
