I've always said Clichy is ****, much like Glen Johnson he's a defender who just wants to attack and has no idea how to defend. I don't know why he starts over Gibbs who looks like a brilliant full back already even at the age of 21.

Those kind of full backs like Johnson and Clichy would do well in leagues like La Liga but they don't cut it in the Premiership or when they are facing decent European competition.

Either that or you do what Spurs did to Bale and turn them into a winger, i actually think both of those would do much better playing as wingers.

Clichy was defo one of the best left backs in the Prem shortly after Ashley Cole left but now he's horrible.
