The fact that Beasley who is currently unattached is a regular in the American team and has scored 17 in 93 games shows how poor USA's team is and the opposition.

Beasley was dropped from the national team in mid-2009 after he continued displaying horrible form vs. Costa Rica in a qualifier. He only got called back right around World Cup time when we had a rash of injuries and Beasley found his form scoring 2 goals and 4 assists in 5 games for Rangers.

Beasley only played about 20 minutes in one game in the World Cup. He hasn't scored a goal for the national team since 2008. When he was scoring goals, he was with PSV, Man City, or Rangers in Europe.
