Difference being we had Hart, J.Cole and other players who showed promise this season. Instead, Capello played Gerrard in a foreign position and was too afraid to take a gamble with A.Johnson or other players.

Capello played it safe, using experienced players and in the end that was the wrong decision.

England's team needs to be experimented with more, the 4-4-2 formation doesn't work anymore and that is why we're still in the stone age.
