What do you think of Olise returning to Chelsea? Seems like it is picking up steam on the market.

He's injured.

I have nothing against signing him or Tyler Adams.

I don't like Conor at DM he hasn't got the technique. I liked Adams against England and Chelsea. I can see that signing working certainly as a squad man. More useful than RLC anyway.

Olise is technically strong. Doesnt score goals. Im not that excited about him really. Eze would be my pick if we are gonna give Palace a big offer.

What I do have a problem with is: Adams, Olise, even Vlahovic (linked) all being injured.

So Chelsea have James, Nkunku, Broja, Badiashille, Chilwell, and Noni plus those 3? Completely forgetting Fofana.

James and Chiwell are covered. I personally think James' career is ending. Bug when he gets injured we have Gusto and Diasi who can play there. Maatsen covers Chilly hopefully and not Cucu.

But we have over a third of a squad that if not injured now will spend significant time out injured essentially letting everybody down. Harsh but fair. It is not they might get injured. They will get injured. Then others can be unlucky too

It is poor work imo.

Sometimes at Chelsea I think they are doing a good job other times I do think I would do better. I think 80% of their actual fan base would do better.

It is not a hot take to say Chelsea will struggle with injuries this season even despite playing less games.

I would say out of my friendship group that support Chelsea I'm the most positive one.

Yeah £110m plus on Caicedo is nuts tbh, quality player who improves most teams no doubt but the market is just crazy at the moment. Also Brighton got exactly what they wanted so they are the real winners.

I heard some talk that he would still be willing to join Liverpool if Chelsea can't agree a fee with Brighton for whatever reason but i'm not that enthuastic about signing him compared to this morning. Everyone knew Chelsea were his initial preferred choice this summer as they done all the groundwork in the last few months but if he gave enough encouragement for us to make a bid only to still insist on a move to Chelsea after a fee was agreed with liverpool/brighton then i'd say we should just withdraw our offer rather than waiting around.

So yeah, you guys can have him lol.

But now we will get taken to the cleaners when negotiating for other players. I wouldn't be surprised if southampton changed their mind and asked for 70+ mil for Lavia.
