Milan is crazy stacked with studs. Even their B squad is tough. Great sub positions

Cracking game for you Flicker.
I've only seen the highlights but Jackson seems exciting. Mudryk's goal was wonderful.
Seen that Angelo play some perfect 1 touch passes.
A lot of these players are looking good. Need a defensive midfielder desperately.
Then maybe Jackson, Nkunku and Broja is enough up top. If it doesn't work have a look in Jan.
I dunno if I'm tempted to replace Kepa. He's not a massive issue but I still think he's the worst no1 Chelsea have had possibly in my life time

I admire fans in from other countries that support certain clubs. Not Chelsea really.
To be fair Chelsea are glamorous - in England anyway.
Out of all the clubs we are the one. It's near the King's Road and in one of the most affluent place in Europe.
Really it is the best choice in general. It will be a nice trip
Fulham is also good too - lovely ground by the Thames. Albeit their supporters prefer Rugby.
Other teams...
You could buy a house for £6 by Anfield.
Old Trafford has a big Tesco and an office block.
City is in a hole of Manchester.
Spurs is still in a sh.it tip
Arsenal has nothing around it and a purgatory atmosphere.
West Ham is a toilet.
Brentford is not a real club in the sense nobody supports them - not really - although a decent area with pubs around it
But even fans that support most other teams. They are invariably in absolute sh.itholes with nothing there.
Everton's new stadium will be in a cool place near Albert Docks.
You might treat yourself to go see Palace and see the concrete metropolis of Croydon.
Really the natural order of things should be Chelsea winning everything forever.
It is why people rightly love it when Chelsea are s.hit because they know deep down that Chelsea are box office no matter how s.hit they might get - if the world was firmly on its Axis they would win trophies.
And I say this knowing Chelsea were crap in the 80's and pretty ordinary when I started going.

It was a fun game given Brighton attempting a come back and down a man
the turn out was honestly surprising. Some West Ham fans were walking down the street signing West Ham songs too. Don't know why but they were lmao
It's a shame that Sterling has to play down to the level of his team mates though. A few times he was making damn good runs but Chuk and others couldn't see him
Nkunku is talented for sure tho. I think he would be way better if he played off of a striker though. He's a second striker at heart.
Out of this team however. Nkunku, Sterling, Chilwell, and Gallagher are the goods.
Chilewell was getting wrecked defensively but going forward? He was damn good.
Sterling is surprisingly sturdy in person too. TV makes him look small but he's solid af I'm person.
There was such a buzz when Mudryk came on too. Mudryk definitely has a big presence. The crowd turned electric and started buzzing from first touch. Each time it went to him? Electric.
Gallagher will get better I believe. There's something there. Also in Trevoh as well. When he came on suddenly defensively we got better.
But that Bright #9 was gliding! Got on the ball and always looked like he was going to be dangerous.

There is rumours about Gallagher being allowed to leave if they got a big offer.
He's a weird one because he has a pretty big technical flaw which is difficult for Chelsea to reconcile.
I talk about it loads but it's the ability to get on the half turn when you receive the ball and nowadays it is vital because everyone presses so hard. Gallagher can't really do that so he takes a few touches too many or he sort of has to play the way he's facing and it is just a bit clunky this is literally just when he receives the ball when facing his own goal.
This Santos kid can just do it in his sleep gets on the half turn then he has 3 passing options and not just 1. Hes not flashy but it is just pretty difficult to do that every time. Jorginho built a whole career on it. He's not good at anything but that and pens. Literally.
Ironically Gallagher would be a f.ucking nightmare if he had to play against himself. He'd destroy himself, lol.
But what Gallagher does do is run hard, he can see a pass when hes running onto it and he could end up scoring a lot of goals. Most importantly he loves Chelsea and could drive standards if we do start winning.
He's an odd one. I can see why he'd have a price for him but Chelsea arent good enough to sell him and if he did find away to score 15 goals from midfield he can carry that technical flaw through a decade long Chelsea career.
Goals override that by miles.
but tbh it depends how good Chelsea are. Gallagher isn't good enough right now for Man City and likely never. But Chelsea aren't good enough for Man City.
Chelsea would sell Gallagher and replace him with someone weaker.Last edited by Sparked_26; 07-25-2023, 09:00 AM.
