    Klopp said it best.

Football is the most important thing of the least important things.

I'm worried myself. More.because of what I do for a living. Ain't really the place to discuss that. I just like to get obsessive about footy here.

But the the real nitty gritty of not being enough ventilators. Or even other high flow oxygen delivery systems.

The prevailing opinion seems to be well its the ones who are closer to the end.

You love people just the same and in Italy they will be picking between a a person and a slightly younger person and saying well ... we will save this one.

This will happen here. Nobody has the heart for that.

The people that make those calls or the people that deliver that care.

If I got Coronavirus I’d mainly be concerned about spreading it to an elderly person or someone with a weak immune system, obviously I’d rather not be ill than be ill but I wouldn’t panic for my own health if I got Coronavirus.

It appears the UK will be the next Italy, if you look at Italy’s cases two weeks ago they had very similar numbers to what we have now and the rate it’s increasing day by day is very similar.

Same I am not to worried for myself (in terms of the virus) I expect most people on here are 15-40

UK.. Europe and US will probably go the same was as Italy/china etc.. US is almost in complete lockdown.. Once that happens the virus infection rate/deaths go way down as shown in Korea/China/Taiwan..

Idk how much effect the weather will have.. my parents are in Florida atm.. hopefully heat does kill it off/slow it down like it does with normal flu

Sorry to be a debbie downer but I think the truth is most important. The heat will not affect coronavirus at all. There is a guy who is basically one of the Worlds top people in this field (I believe he was hired by one of the Arab royal's years ago as his advisor) who has stated this. He was on Joe Rogan's podcast a week ago and he talks all about the Coronavirus.

VERY good listen, it's on his YouTube, if you can't find it let me know i'll link it.

                  I watched that one.

He pretty much said that the only thing you can do is try to be as healthy as possible (proactive like build your immune system; vitamin c etc.) and limit exposure to crowds of people. If you contract it, stay at home and dont put others at risk.

I think the real issue, as far as being on topic in this thread, will be when do the sporting organizations deem too much (potential) money has been lost?

I know the bundesliga put up an estimate of 700 million lost if they cancel the season. So, will they start it back up after 3 weeks to recoup some 4-500 million? But then the ethical question is, what's the point of the first suspension if in 21 days they bring 60,000 capacity stadiums back to life?

He also said one way of dealing with it (also stipulated that it's a helluva price to pay) is the herd-immunity approach which the UK seems to be adopting. From what I have read, this approach may lead to more deaths short term but less economic impact long term and less deaths long term when the damn thing rears its ugly head again during the winter.

If they do start it back up, there is no way they are having fans allowed in the stadium. They'll be played at empty stadiums for the rest of this season at best. In the UK, this will continue to rise for another 4 weeks and may peak at the 8-10 week mark by that point the season will be over anyway.

I will check it out.. had heard conflicting stuff about heat/warm weather being able to slow it.. but it was more hope then anything concrete.

UK has taken a stance different from pretty much everyone at this point with the schools. I can get why they want to hold off.. kids will be on easter holidays for 3 weeks in about 2 weeks time

What a mess though.. imagine if the virus was really deadly.. Governments worldwide need to have a long look at themselves when this is over

I'm bored as **** with no sports on.. ended up downloading assasin creed oddesey.. haven't played PC games in a while
