That team/squad is still good enough to be in the top 4 at least. Also Son only got injured recently and they were still meh before that.

Starting a game vs Burnley with 5 CB’s ffs, he’s a relic.

He’ll get a pass for this summer of course but next season once he has a couple more signings there’s no excuses.

Mourinho's last season at Chelsea even after the event and with benefit of hindsight is the worst job anyone has done at anything in the history of mankind..

He needed to take 5 years off after that.

He did pretty well at United. He's shot to bits.

Needed to relax, reset, and relearn the game.

He was the King but his way has been debunked and players clearly f ucking hate him now

I'm not having that this Spurs squad should be automatic top 4.

I think Mourinho is shot, but even Pep or Klopp would struggle to get a tune out of these players. The squad has been neglected for near on 3 years now. Especially the midfield with only Lo Celso being one that can actually pass the ball forward without losing possession.

Then theres the ridiculous decision not to have a back up to Kane, knowing full well he gets injured at least once a year that keeps him out for months. It's poor management from the board.

So just blaming Mourinho is pretty weak imo.

The argument is that none of the chasing pack are that good.

Everton got smashed but on paper they had possibly a stronger team and certainly bench today.

Chelsea have Tammy, Pulisic, CHO, Kante, and Kovacic out. So if Chelsea lost today I'd have swallowed it.

That said. Kante isn't playing well enough to play for Chelsea and Jorginho being banned is a Godsend

It's not really blaming Mourinho. It's looking at how stark contrasting he is, from even his Man United tenure.

He literally wont allow them to attack. It's like he doesnt even gameplan to attack. Not even hoof ball. He doesnt want Spurs anything to do with the ball. On top of that, he uses a formation he has never used in some 25 years of coaching.

That's a man who is shot. Sad to say because i really felt for him when interviewed and he nearly cried about not being in management.

But it's clear, Jose doesnt have it anymore and I really thought Spurs fit him like a glove. Big, fast, athletic players with a sprinkle of skill here and there. That's classic Jose: Chelsea, Real, Inter.

But he's afraid to say "get forward and score".

Also, Billy ****ing Gilmour has officially ended Jorginho's Chelsea career.

Anything other than risk of fatigue or injury, and Frank plays that italian-brazilian paperweight.. Frank deserves a formal warning in the tunnel by the Russian himself.

Billy G is like a revelation. Pray that kid stays healthy, continues to improve, and becomes an elite player.
