What they did yesterday was the footie equivalent of just pinching rounds.

They put nothing into that game.

On the other hand you’ve got to mention the amount of empty seats at that game. Pathetic.

Also massive props to Sterling who bought tickets for every kid who attends his old primary school.

Sterling is a bit of a gem now the media have stopped trying to bully him.

    Lovely young man.

I can see that happening too.

What's the general feeling about Chelsea over there by the way? Are the majority of Chelsea supporters done with Sarri?

Cause I can't see him properly managing the transfer ban. Fully expect that man to still put out Alonso, Luiz etc. for 40 games.

I don’t know anybody who has any faith in him.

I dunno how you could have any faith in him. But the weird thing is like most have said. We could be the 5th best team even with a good manager.

I think with Sarri even if he played CHO far more and RLC and Christensen he could point to green shoots.

But he picks loanees, out of form players, players out of position. And if you gave him blank cheque book which he’ll never get btw he’d just buy Napoli’s starting XI. So what’s the point really. Is he gonna pick Reece James ahead of Azpi or even consider him. That should be the remit.

Also there are a lot of rumours about him just being a little bit pathetic.

Apparently the reason Cahill never plays is because he told Sarri not to smoke inside at the training ground. Sarri continued. Cahill told him again. Sarri still continued so he escalated it.

Reasonable really. These guys are meant to be elite athletes they can’t be around second hand smoke.

But ever since he told on him he hasn’t played in any important game.

Cahill is probably coming to the end anyway. But I don’t think Luiz or Rudiger have been great all season and he could have stepped in after the 4 nil smashing at Bournemouth. Luiz right now is defending quite badly I think. Has gotten away with it.

The credit I can give to Sarri is Christensen. He’s brought him in quite nicely. His confidence was shot to bits by Conte and he’s turned it around nicely. He looks a very good player. Which for a while he just looked too fragile and error prone.

      He’s a classy player.

Chelsea would regret selling him now I think

Try affording every game as a City fan at the moment.

I didn't go on Saturday, partly because we were hosting a party and partly cos I can't justify spending another wad on City. Few days ago the money went out of my bank for the Spurs home CL game, probably gonna be paying for the FA cup final soon and then possibly further CL ties to pay for on top of that as well as my monthly season ticket payments still going out.

5 games at Wembley this season and each time we play there it's over a Ł100 spend for the day.

Wouldn't be as difficult if we had a load of day trip fans who can pick up the slack but we don't. It's the same people who go to every game, and a lot of our fanbase only earn minimum wage. It is what it is.

The "They were in League 1 not long ago, they should be grateful" thing is such daft argument to make. Yeah I'm grateful John, do you wanna ping me over Ł4k so I can get to my 55th game this season?

As a final point, the cup semi between United and Arsenal in '99 (that Giggs goal) was only about 3/4 full, and that was with a much smaller/convenient stadium. This seat counting stuff is a modern thing, no one gave a **** about it 10 years ago. If people were that bothered about it they'd point out that the Bernebau and Nou camp literally have about 30,000 empty seats for 90% of the games there. They don't though, which makes you think it's another stick to try and beat City fans with.

          Agree with all this

I’m not even having a go at City fans but more the FA knew that game was gonna have hordes of empty seats months in advance.

Sterling himself bought tickets for kids.

Why aren’t the FA more proactive and that club Wembley is a joke.

And yeah cup finals shouldn’t be at Wembley.

          Southern teams should play
In London. Northern teams at OT. And if a southern team draws a northern team it’s got to be Villa park

City aren’t United - there’s no plethora of ****ney city fans. Not a stick to beat City with City do have less fans.

You won’t hear me beating the drum for Ł1 billion Chelsea stadium. I go three times a year, ffs.

Anything over 55,000 100% Chelsea won’t sell out.

Spurs won’t be selling out their stadium all the team either.

Hazard goes with my blessing anyway.

              Tricky week for Chelsea.

In the context of our season hard to say whether the Prague game or Liverpool one is more important.

                Prague.

Liverpool haven't been beaten at home this season. New fortress.

Sarri's best bet is winning the EL to save his job. Beating Pool away, and United away is a long shot. Leicester away is a trap game as well.

Our best player by far is Hazard. Can't fault him if he goes to Spain.

You have a knack of taking points off Liverpool. Must be between you or United for who has the best record at Anfield in the past 10 years?

Wouldn't be surprised if you beat them.

Why.....? The problem isn't the manager, the problem is the players.

Who else would finish first with this group of misfits? Pep? Maybe him, but that's about it. Manager isn't the issue
