Their chances do pretty much depend on them accepting they the worst team left and adjusting their gameplan accordingly.
Pellegrini never does that. Not a great coach.
Chelsea weren't great, but they had a more willing team along with very few clear weak links, they were happy to put their ego's aside and play within a system and burst their ass covering gaps. I don't see Silva, De Bruyne and co doing that....also, outside of 3 players, their squad is average. throughout.

Chelsea had the dying embers of a great team Cech, Terry, Lamps, Cole and Drogba. Terry was suspended for the final. But other than that I think that team was pedestrian. Torrid, Kalou, and Malouda played a lot of games. Mikel in his true form (average). Meireles and Rambo (very average) both also suspended in the final.
Not a good team IMO. Chelsea's board are very lacklustre and much like they have destroyed this season through poor team building they did the same then. They were just saved by the know how and experience of some champion players.
Tbf Cahill was bought from relegation threatened Bolton. Can you imagine City fielding Ryan Bennett from Norwich or some s.hit?
The difference is that Chelsea like Atletico had A few players that loved the club. City possibly don't have that. Maybe Joe Hart and Vincent Kompany. It helped us that two of our greatest champions predated Abramovich.
I would say that Silva, De Bruyne, Aguero, Kompany, Sagna/Zabaleta, Fernandinho, Toure get into that Chelsea team that started the final.

Aguero and De Bruyne are top class, Silva is a little below those two....after that, I don't really see it. City have blown hundreds of millions on absolute garbage. They are similar to the Chelsea team in terms of the amount of quality players, but they don't have the same desire or selflessness that Chelsea had.
Kompany is always injured and not the same player, Toure is finished, Otamendi/Mangala/Demichelis are all average or less, Clichy is poor, Hart is prone to a blunder, Navas is useless....They have had a very fortunate draw, especially getting PSG while Verratti was injured and Matuidi was suspended.
The remaining teams will all hope to draw City.Last edited by gmc_rfc_06; 04-13-2016, 05:53 PM.

i want Man City to win it, just for Aguero and Yaya, yaya yaya, yaya yaya, yaya yaya Toure. Sterling too, he can win a medal.
I think City could be atletico, id bet a 10a they would go through over 2 legs. Barca defence slow when alba and alves up the pitch.
I hope city can do it for the English. I want City vs Atletico and Real vs Bayern

PSG are hurt by a non-competitive league.
I doubt they ever win the CL.
How can you go from beating Troyes 9 nil to playing anyone good. Even this crap Chelsea side possibly should have done better against them.

England are taking the ball back this summer. We gave you the gift Europe/the world. But now we are taking it back. Stop us? Show some f.ucking respect.
This summer we put the colonial boot onto the neck of football and apply pressure.
