Although funnily your standards sky rocket when discussing Giroud who apparently has to be a combination of a prime Ronaldo and Alfredo Di Stefano to get a tiny bit of praise from you.

I honestly think you may have a closet man crush on him and you take out your anger by irrationally criticising his footballing ability.

Admit it, you WANTED to lose that sig/avy bet, didn't you?
    You got me!

No, in all honesty I didn't like a prime Adebayor because of his lack of finishing ability in front of goal. Giroud has a worse finish. He isn't clinical and I can't stand that.

      Based off what?

This isn't a small team punching above their weight.

They have a legit good squad, decent manager, good stadium and a hell of an academy.

They are making a mockery of other "bigger" clubs transfer and manager dealings.

          John T hates Yanks.

But John T is arguably my favorite all time back

I think it's great, i hope they make the CL

Only thing that would worry me with them is clubs poaching their talent, but if they're still flying high they could still keep them. Or if they just completely bottle it, but i think they look pretty solid.

Based on the teams they have and haven't played so far. They lost vs Liverpool and Spurs. They have yet to play Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Everton, United. Look at what happened to Villa.

That is quite a lot even this early. They are 9 points clear of Man U and 11 points clear of Liverpool.

I know they haven't beaten a top side but win their next game and they could be double figures clear of Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool. Not to be sniffed at.

But does no one remember last season? last season at this stage they had 22 points.. this season they have 25 points a small 3 point difference.. and does anyone remember were they finished?

They have a hard run of games now

                  Arsenal (A)
                  Man Utd (H)

                  Man Utd (A)
All of those games are in the PL? you honestly wouldn't be surprised if they lost all of those games..

Not that we have the money to compete with Chelsea/City/United's spending but we aren't ***ing scraping the bottom of the barrel surely?

It almost seems as if we're only allowed to make one marquee signing per summer....Ozil.....Sanchez. It's like a way to distract the fans whilst the real issues remain unresolved
                  .
While it's certainly fair to say you can't match those teams.. you have spent a lot in the past few seasons probably only outspent by United.

Sanchez was the big signing this year.. but also another 30m was spent on Wellbeck and Chambers. Chambers may turn out to be quality.. but he probably is not quite ready..

Someone like Vlaar at Villa could have been got for 5-8m due to his contract running out next year.. + he has experience in the PL and internationally..

I think Wenger's arguement is that there wasn't the players available but i don't agree.. even someone like Agger.. could have been picked up.. Song was another player perfect for a return to Arsenal.

Wenger basically got rid of an experienced CB for a talented youngster.. you can't do that..

We can't say Chambers is a replacement for Verms because Monreal is picked ahead of him at CB FFS. Verms wasn't replaced at all.

Nah there's no doubt in my mind they end up 5th/6th but they beat United pretty handily man we're pretty much the new Liverpool lol
