Yeah it used to happen a lot more when I was younger. It actually happened again recently. It was worse than usual though because I was sleeping on my stomach, and kind of had my face buried in the pillow. It scared the **** out of me because it felt like I couldnt breath and had no way of getting out. I had to get up and kind of slap myself awake after that one.
I think it usually happens when you fall asleep while something is on in the background. I remember it happening while a TV was on in the background more than a few times. Your mind is still alert, but you physically fall asleep.Last edited by -Antonio-; 01-30-2009, 01:19 AM.

The Authority on sleep paralysis David J Hufford speaks openly about sleep paralysis, the raw footage is from the documentary Your Worst Nightmare - Supernatural Assault.
One in five will experience the terrifying phenomenon of sleep paralysis. Victims wake to find that they are paralyzed and unable to move or speak. Many experience frightening visions of demons, shadows, or an old woman known as "The Hag''.
For others there is simply the unmistakable presence of evil. In extreme cases, these potentially supernatural attacks can occur for decades. Overwhelmed, exhausted, and entirely alone, victims can lead shattered lives dominated by the fear of social stigma. Those who seek medical advice are often misdiagnosed and labeled psychotic or schizophrenic.
I did a search an came up with this, ''The Hag'' sounds like what I called a Witch. Really scary ****.
