Imagine if Connor was over there and our prez said major combat operations have ended and then he was killed by a roadside bomb 3 years later patrolling the same square footage he had been patrolling for the last 6 months.

This war doesnt touch you or I and that makes it easy...we need to sacrafice-can you say this war is worth Connors life? Its not worth his life nor my sons...you at some point I hope understand this...its not worth Connors life.

....I would never allow my son to join the all volunteer military. I would stear him away from any military service of any kind and he would never serve under my watch. When a person jons the military they are fully aware that they may see actual combat and that their life could be at stake. The same thing applies to police officers. Of course I don't want any of our boys hurt or killed, but at this point what do you suggest? A complete pull out??

Sure its an all volunteer military but we still owe it to these kids to make sure what we are doing is 1) right and 2) achievable.

I cant stand it when a presidents both a ********** one and a ********ic stand up there during their state of the unions and boast about how strong our union is, strong for who?

We have 30-40 million Americans below the poverty line, how the **** can our union be strong...sure its strong for rich white elites who btw-wrote the contitution but how is it for the bottom side of our country? (how is it for **********, women, the poor etc)

Many of these people under the poverty line work their asses off, they work two jobs just to pay rent, they have no quality of life... (check out Morgan Sperlocks new movie about minimum wage jobs and trying to make it-same guy who made SUPERSIZE)

Dow Jones-who gives a **** the stock market is a rich mans game and make no mistake Im a part of it but Im not worried about me Im worried about the single mother who grew up in poverty, had a kid when she was 13 and is rasing kids that will grow up "second verse same as the first" thats what Im worried about.

The first "New Deal" we got ******. I'm sick of people making excuses. What about poor, women, and **********? **** em if they can't get it done. Ambition is neither racist nor discriminatory towards women. We need more contributors in this country, and less leaches.
