The main thing is there shouldn't just be one speed slider for hand and foot speed...

    We need two sliders

seperate hand and foot speed.. some fighters have fast hands and slow feet and alteration between the two

Also a fainting button would go a long way..like say hold LB and then a jab but the boxer only throws it half way and it doesn't take much stamina.. this would be good for inside fighters to get on the inside.. this would also help the defence problem in the game as it would be hard to time the defence button tap

this is just ideas coming to me.. how about a sharpness adjuster to punches so you can somehow choose to be sharp but loose stamina quicker or reserve energy and punch (not slow) but not as fast and consrve yourself ...
so if you hurt someone you can turn up the heat and so on

Also there should be a stance button I think.. similar to turning southpaw in the game now.. but for say.. click the left stick in and it plants your feet for heavy shots(dragging your feet) and click the right stick for retreat (on your toes) and there could be a normal stance inbetween planting your feet and on your toes(starting stance)

There should be more TKO's in the game. Not just someone who can't get up after the third time or a fight being stopped because of a cut.

If I'm beating someone badly over 6 rounds, or I have someone hurt and start wailing away, if it gets very vicious, the referee should step it and stop it. Adds to the realism.

Do away with the counter window. If you get hit flush it should do big damage not just when you block or avoid their punch.

There are no TKOs in this game, except for cut stoppages. There is no standing 8 count either, and fighters are only KO'd after the 3rd or 4th knockdown, everytime. I stopped playing this game because its flaws drive me mad, if they make a new one they should hire someone who knows and loves boxing and turns it around 180°.

There was TKO's when the game was first released. I remember the ref stopping a fight for a cut i had. Not seen it since the game was first released though, so i'm guessing they took it out. Which makes having a damage bar a bit pointless.

This is my biggest issue with the entire Fight Night series. The most damaging blows can only be accomplished through counter punches, even if you nail a guy with a picture perfect shot that isn't a counter.

For the career mode, they need to change it so that knockouts are easier to come by in the early stages of your career. It's completely backwards that my fighter can't knock out a fly at the beginning, but late in my career I'm George Foreman knocking everyone out in 3 rounds.
