Most of the gaming industry has adopted the pay for DLC business model on mobile devices. Nearly every game on mobile there is an option to purchase either skins to alter the appearance of characters or "packs" to further enhance your characters progression. Many gamers, have said these tactics by game devs are going to ruin mobile gaming, but for every person opposed to it, there are 10 that are purchasing content. I play a tennis game called Tennis Clash and you can literally "Pay to Win" by purchasing things to increase the power of your character. As long as there are people that will buy, the pay to win model will never go away.
