I know we’re all excited about the first new boxing game in 10 years.

So I’m sorry to tell you it’s a scam, just like all fighting games are now.

Get ready to pay $70 for the game and then to buy every boxer on the roster individually as “downloadable content.” They’ll probably charge about $5-$10 a pop for each boxer.

Its how these crap video game companies get people to hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a video game that plays like something that’ll cost you about $5 used.

Trust me, I was a huge fighting game fan. They all cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars now if you want the complete game.

Its not worth it at all. Especially for a boxing game where all the characters will play very similarly.

****ing DLCs ruined video games. ****ing activation is (was?) the worst big dog to ever become the big dog of video games. Their transaction engine is ****ing everywhere man.

They've said there will be DLC packs. That'll likely be most of the fighters with the game and the maybe a few addons with 7 or so fighters each. They've got over 300 boxers and if this game is legit brilliant, as an indie studio they should damn well get paid good. Especially if they commit to developing and updating is (as opposed to releasing a whole new version every year)

I can guarantee you won't have to buy every individual boxer lol that would be absurd and not even EA would have the audacity to do something like that.

Seems like they are too ambitious with the roster and something will suffer for it. Why not focus more on the core mechanics and gameplay and have like 20-30 dudes and add more later?

i hate how they raise it to 60-70 bucks a game, but if you have a million people pay that, then pay an extra 20 for the legends or whatever, that should be plenty to give everyone a nice check
