    The Game Changers

    Anybody seen this documentary?

    The Game Changers is a 2018 documentary film about the benefits of plant-based eating for athletes. It covers multiple success stories of plant-based athletes, references scientific studies, and touches on other arguments for plant-based diets that extend to non-athletes.

    Disclaimer:

    It received generally positive reviews by viewers, but also received criticism for scientific inaccuracies and a perceived unbalanced support for plant-based nutrition, with several experts accusing it of misinformation and pseudoscience.

    I've always been a big consumer of animal protein but I'm thinking of giving this a test.

    Haven't seen it yet.

    But Gerald McCoy of the NFL initially said he felt reinvigorated after going vegan...then more recently said that he thought it robbed him of some of his explosiveness.

    So he has added more animal protein back into his diet.

      I think alot of what happens is people go from a big mac and chocolate diet to a whole food diet and notice that difference and think its because of no animals. I also think many people are regularily eating something that is hurting there performance and weight goals, such as sugar, or it could be something less obvious like carbs, gluten, a specific food, etc.

      I liked the documentary, i think the message shouldn't have been "eat just plants and you'll be a superhuman" and should have been "plants are great for you."

              Thanks Jaded, im def going to check this out. My chicks father just had a heart attack. My chick was already a vegetarian but now she gone full vegan because of it. Have teenage athetes at home we've discussed this topic for them.

              Personally ive uptaken my fiber and been watching the raw meat protein. I also went to Costco and stocked up on fish oil

                  Good flick, Arnold was the most convincing for me

                  I still eat some meat, but much less than I ever did. Also, its very difficult for me to get past not eating any cheese. I love that stuff and all kinds too. One thing is for sure, a persons diet will have a great effect on how healthy they are. I hope everyone gets that at this point

                    I think I remember reading somewhere that the Romans believed in eating vegetarian for improving health.

                    But not as an everyday lifestyle. Only for certain periods of time, kind of like a cleanse.
