    What to do?

Hello all, new to the forum, been boxing for a total of 6 years and went down in weight from 180 to 140, and preparing to go into the airforce and need advice. Should I maintain my weight or up in weight if I want to box while Im away, I used to be around 160 about 3 months ago and lost too much weight from not eating enough and overtraining. Any advice?

Wow thank you for your service man! That's exciting and I hope you experience in the air force goes great,,, I would say stay healthy and don't do weird dieting that could affect your performance as a service person cause that is more important than maintaining a fighting weight

Thank you EDD1, i just worry about gaining too much weight to fast because i dont want to be sluggish and gain fat. Been on a clean bulk for almost 3 weeks so far and gained almost 2 pounds of muscle so far, very little fat gain, aiming for at least another 3 to 5 pounds so I have something to burn in bmt

I would say to just listen to your body. What weight are you comfortable at and what do you feel the most agile and quick at. I'm 5'11" and 182 and I feel WAY better in the 160s.
