I do the opposite in that I eat a lot of small meals. That can get away from you too but I find it's safer and leaves you feeling better than just 1 big meal.
That's the best way to do it.

Eating once a day puts you at a high risk for gout and kidney stones because your uric acid levels spike when you fast, damaging your kidneys.

I read that drinking water with baking soda and taking potassium citrate pills helps, but i can't confirm the results yet because I just now started doing this.

I went on a ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting regime and I got the worst ****ing gout ever lol I couldnt walk for days and it felt like my foot was going to explode. Because ketogenic diet and fasting create the perfect conditions for spiking your uric acid.

The fat and protien make your urine acidic and create uric acid, and then fasting spiked your uric acid levels and uric acid production.

Gout is a ****ing bltch. I never want to go through that shlt again. I cut down on my meat intake and upped my fruit and vegetable intake to maintain my uric acid levels.

Wtf, I'm not saying you're wrong, obviously keto and IF affected you in a certain way, but I've never heard of anyone getting gout from it. Then again, not many people should be doubling up on two different diets at the same time... that's crazy and kind of scary lol.

I think clean eating is enough, regardless of how many meals you eat a day, but we all have preferences.

Most of the people I know who have gotten gout were heavy drinkers. I look at it as being caused from malnutrition. I've been intermittent fasting and partial Keto for a few years now and have never gotten gout. Could happen, but not something I've heard of either

I truly wouldn't be surprised if someone at some point got like low blood sugar from fasting... for some reason that seems to be like the one thing I'd be like "Oh, yeah, ok, makes sense."

I actually modify my IF to only 12 hr windows because long duration of a non-eating window or IF for long term for women isn't healthy, causes hormonal irregularity and blood sugar problems. I, personally, have felt the mood swings, but my sugar was never affected.

Low blood sugar and low insulin are supposed to be the result of fasting. This is actually good for you if it's from not eating. It is the condition needed to mobilize fat.
I can see how fasting would be different for women and every individual

I have had a great experience with intermittent fasting. What you're describing sounds like the warrior diet, which is a similar concept. This is an excellent way to build muscle while also burning fat.

I get way too hungry for that direction.
