Does anyone only eat one meal a day?

Switching to one meal a day (dinner) has helped me a lot with my energy. Of course I still have a protein shake and fruit after workouts, but mostly water until dinner. Has anyone tried this?

Yea same here. If i eat healthy i lose weight and its that simple. I eat my meal at night so sometimes like you i need a protein shake for workouts maybe sometimes but the only difficulty is getting used to the fasting. Most people will get stomach and headaches the forst week or so. I actually appreciate the change as i dont have to make my schedule around meals at all and i use my lunch break to catch up on work most of the time.

I tried this for a while when it was called the Warrior Diet.

It will keep you lean without too much effort. But if you are training hard it doesn't provide enough energy in my opinion. Eventually my workouts weren't as productive, felt like I needed more fuel.

I do this form of intermittent fasting a few times a week. Also the other days I fast about 18-20hrs and have two meals in about 4hrs. Great way to keep your caloric intake in check. Totally possible to eat enough food and not loose weight if you want. People think you need food right before a workout or right after but its not true. The body is perfectly capable of storing energy. That's what fat is

I tried it too but I couldn't eat enough calories in one sitting or a short eating window, and I can't function well with my training without enough calories.

Too hard in the long run considering I'm currently fit and in shape and my metabolism just goes by so fast.

I do a lot of cardio and run 3-4x a week depending on how my body is feeling. I used to run 5x a week when I was in my teen and early twenties but now I'm taking it lightly on my body.

Yeah I get that too. When I try to put in a longer workout while limiting calories I just get drained of energy way sooner than I'd like.

I've seen friends do it an this^ is what happened. The one meal was just a calorie bomb and the body doesn't deal well. They felt tired all the time and got fat pretty quick.

I do the opposite in that I eat a lot of small meals. That can get away from you too but I find it's safer and leaves you feeling better than just 1 big meal.
