If you transfer weight its obvious the hip transfers teh weight from foot to foot and it looks different to what they are doing, theres a noticeable shift from one foot to the other, I dont see that here I will show u a vid of what i mean

here it is done properly, maybe the pros are different, but still i dont see weight transfer, why?

Its subtle but also its obvious if they have shifted weight you can SEE it , again a small movement but we are good at spotting those

Canelo leans his weight forward he doesn't transfer it properly, I cant see Frotches legs hips or feet and hes front on lol
Like I said at the outset, the opponent is never in position like the bag is. Sometimes you have less transfer, sometimes you have more (Canelo gif). The opponent's goal is to never be in the ideal position to get hit. That's why fight punches look different than bag punches. The bag lets you strike perfectly. The opponent requires you to adjust each and every punch.

If you try perfect punches in a fight, you'll never get any punches out. This is what happens to people the first few times they spar. They are lost in trying to adapt to the target moving.

Technically perfect power punches are certainly not every punch thrown, because of the angles and such like Redd Foxx said. In reality, and in an actual fight, punches are thrown from all different angles with varying degrees of weight transfer. But, I'd have to say Canelo got full weight transfer in that one and it all ended up n the end of the punch

A lot of that is bad habits taught and engrained on the mitts.
