    Stretching and flexibility.

Recently watching a Golovkin video from sports science, they talk about how Golovkin has great flexibility and can leverage lots of power because of it.
I read interviews from Anthony Joshua, Vasyl Lomachenko and Erickson Lubin and they pretty much agree .
The problem is that I have like 0 flexibility in a 1-10 scale, i think it's actually really bad flexibility for an 18 year old.
So i wanted to know if someone knows about routines or exercises that i can do when i stretch before or after training.
    Thanks.

Can not stress the importance of this, walk before you can run, so good stretching,

Everyone should know basic stretches for forearms, shoulders, lower and upper back, quads, calfs, hams, making sure you should feel it, spend a good 10 mins everyday doing this, then when it starts to feel comfortable after a few weeks stretch a bit further and deeper into it and so on and so on.

Once you get more competent, do some more complex stretching using some above yoga guides

All I can say is make sure you stretch your back before you train. I have to get a massage tomorrow because it is sore because I don't stretch enough.

This is a great question flexibility is a major part in being a good athlete, it helps with over all athleticism and to prevent injury.

Try to do dynamic stretches before your work out and a static stretches after.
              and yes start doing yoga.

I actually believe in stretching after a workout not before. I think a nice dynamic mobility warmup is best before. You dont want to over stretch a muscle before you exercise. That actually weakens you in the short term. And there is little evidence that stretching before exercise does anything to limit injury. What does limit injury is being flexible and that is accomplished by a well thought out disciplined stretching program that is better as a cool-down than a warmup.

Lastly stretching after your workout gets your body back to neutral and release all the tension cause by the workout. If you stretch before exercise the only time your body will be stretched and balance is a few minutes before your workout. If you stretched after your workout then your body will be stretched and in balance for whole rest of the day.

A lot of common problems in athletes like anterior pelvic tilt are caused in large part by not stretching after exercise. The muscles get tight and stuck.

Mate it's ****** and leads to injuries. Not just me, also science says that. All of my tears were due to stretching. If you wanna do that go and do some girls's sport like aerobics or kickboxing or taekwondo.
What's needed for us is warming up.
Warm up (move back n forth, rotate) shoulders, elbows, wrists, neck, knees, walk on your ankles, and stretch your back lefts right back forth , the most important is the back to me. Lastly open and push your jaw sideways and nose.
I see boxers stretching as if they gon throw some high kick, tons of useless movement.
Golovkin is just not stiff, not that flexible. And how do you think being flexible is releated with heavy punches?
