How is typical training day/week of a champion?

    Hello,
as in subject, how is a typical training day/week of a boxing champion?
How many hours has he training for a day? How many days of rest in a week? how would be training day schedule?

It depends. What I've read about Manny Pacquiao is that you have three hours per day which includes running, heavy bag workouts, double-end bag workouts, shadow boxing, jumping rope, and three times a week also sparring. I'm not sure about the days off, though. I would imagine a champion trains every day, or perhaps takes one day off during the week... but others may know better than myself.

      Usually two times a day.

Running in the morning. Either slow-medium paced long runs or
Sprinting workouts. Boxing in the afternoon with strength training added 3 times a week after boxing. 6 times a week with one day rest.

Mike Tyson wrote in his book that he trained 6/7 times a week as an amateur / kid.

During school (5 days) boxing after school.

And on the weekend running in the morning boxing in the afternoon.

        Pro top tier talent.

        road work 6AM
gym time 11am--bags, pads, conditioning etc.......
gym time spar 6-7pm (when prepping for fights)
one day off a week with a stretch/short run, light exercise.
I also would institute a 30 hour fast, and cleanse within a 35 day period. No training during cleansing period. Usually takes 2 1/2 days away from training so timing this while training for a fight can be tricky if theres promo dates or any kind of traveling.
I am a believer in cleansing the body the benefits are a huge plus!

Interesting that you mention fasting! I was speaking to a colleague who fasts for religious reasons, but he was telling me about the health benefits and I couldn't believe some of the studies that has been done on it. Thinking about trying it.

What benefits is in it for an athlete? (also a 12 hour day of training is intense! no wonder those guys can **** for 12 rounds)

Not a 12 hour day, morning work then a break for afternoon dinner. Then a return to the gym for spar time.

            road work 6AM-7AM
            breakfast
            gym time 11AM to 1PM
            Dinner
gym to spar 6PM or 7PM

The basic idea of cleansing the body is to get rid of ALL the waist
that accumulates in the colon that doesn't get "pushed out"! HA!
