    Getting rid of stomach fat?

So I have a bit of stomach fat, which isn't abling me to fully unlock my ab muscles?
How do I get rid of that?
    What exercises?
    Thanks.

Consume less calories than you burn per day...the end. Unlock your ab muscles? I've never heard of such a thing before...maybe call an ab muscle locksmith.

    Call this guy...

      Diet.

When I used to train and compete, I never had a six-pack. One guy even called me 'Chuck' because he said I had a Chuck Liddell body. lol I worked out alot, but never ate right at all.

I was in my 30s then, fyi.

Now I'm over 40. I'm not working out much these days, but I recently changed my diet. The fat I had accumulated in the last couple years came off quick. Not only that, I feel lighter and more energetic.

My diet is simple. I eat alot of meat (red meat, chicken, fish, pork) and vegetables for lunch and dinner. For breakfast I have fruit, usually bananas topped with organic honey and pecans. I eat little to no processed foods at all, that's a huge change. Your body wasn't designed to break down processed foods, so you retain fat if you eat too much of it. And not just fast food either, any processed foods.

I hate veggies, but have found that grilling them with the right ****es makes a world of difference. Experiment and find what's best for you.

If you want specific foods/recipes, ask here or via PM. I'm always glad to help.

Cardio and ab exercises. I recently started targeting my abs more with only 150 reps each day every day and I have noticed my abs are more defined. Granted I had only a little fat over them but I think it is good progress considering it has been abt 2 weeks.

You just need to lose fat. Caloric deficit is the consistent main factor in achieving this.

There is no such thing as centralized fat loss. You lose fat as a total, not fat on specific body parts. There is an old saying, "abs are built in the kitchen, not in the gym." this is mostly true. For true effectiveness of losing weight and staying strong you need to first pack on muscle to increase your metabolism and how many calories your body requires, then eat balanced SMALL meals the size of a fist and a half between 5 and 6 times a day. For me I get some carrots, a fruit, and 2 boiled eggs for most of my meals. Drink LOTS of water too. Forget any other drink, water is your friend. Try to drink a gallon a day if you can. Remember to maintain your muscle too so that you can keep your required calorie amount up and succeed in keeping your intake below the calorie requirement.
