Tried gaining weight and lifting but my metobolism is ****ing weird. I tried going on this diet of eating chicken, brown rice, baked potatoe, and salad 4 times a day but my metobolism couldnt handle all that protein. It was too much calories. I was lifting a lot but lost confidence when I wasn't gaining weight. What should I do? What should I take? Was the diet right? I just want to be jacked and have no personality like a lot of guys who frequent the gym.

I can already tell that you're not getting enough protein. You need about a gram of protein for each lb of lean muscle you have. There are tools online to help you find this. What you ate would probably just be a typical meal for me. Salad with grilled chicken, an egg, tons of extra veggies, a homemade sugar free, gluten free ranch dressing for fat (helps absorb nutrients), and a baked sweet potato with a little ghee on the side.
Lifting usually doesn't translate to "real world" strength with means unnecessary weight for a boxer. Kettlebells, steel maces, etc are my preferred work outs. There ARE some lifts you should do however like squats and dead lifts (lifts that utilize several muscles at once) at a 1-3 rep max for explosive power without adding size.
Immediately after work outs and before bed is when you want your protein shakes.
Diet is 90% of it so once you get your food right the weight will come.

If you aren't gaining weight it's because you aren't eating enough calories. There's nothing else to it, it's not about what specific foods you eat.

Wish I was more like you. . . I used to have a really good metabolism, but now I really gotta watch what I eat. . . I'm not fat or anything. but before I could just eat and eat and eat and not worry about anything, but now I'm 32 I can't
What is your height and weight may I ask?

How old are you?
In case you're young enough, go and regularly train with a football team (if you live in the U.S.) or go and train with a Rugby team (if you live in Europe)... Train seriously for about 2-3 years and you'll see what happens with your body...
