They don't, especially in the U.K
Look how many British fighters throw hugely telegraphed and off balance left hooks as well as well as slapping, cuffing left hooks.
      Chisora, Cleverly, Buglioni etc etc

Its solely down to improper technique being taught.
Years of it this is why rarely do British fighters have great success in the pro ranks, it is because of the amateur styling, its flawed to **** and doesn't cross over to the pros well
A Russian or Cuban style though will more or less always translate.
Not just because of their styles but they are far better schooled.

The British system is the same style & we all know you don't trade hooks with a hooker, this is why they get KTFO! Diving in, throwing flawed shots (uppercuts from the outside for example see Khan, Price etc) & getting countered or beaten to the punch every time by a shorter, more compact hook.
A fighter who may not have better timing but better technique that turns their shots over.

Most trainers teach incorrect form and technique. Most trainers can't fix flaws or can't spot them thus their fighters are spending years fighting with these flaws/techniques and it gets ground in.
Its why most don't go anywhere and they're too pig-headed to listen to anybody else.
A decent trainer will always be open to listening and learning. That is the beauty of boxing, you're forever learning.
10 years in the sport, 20, 30 there will always be something you don't know.
