Yes its hard to master, and use vs top level guys,,,, floyd and toney make it look easy rolling with the punches, but truth is, it takes alot of coordination, poise, footwork and smarts... You must be totally relaxed and high ring generalship to make it work
You have to have the rhythm, timing and a high iq to pull it off successfully. AB and Berto are too stationary with their legs too far apart. I hate watching them try to use the philly shell.

The Philly Shell defense has monsterous holes in it, you better be one tough mf'er if you're wanting to employ this defense. It's the kind of defense that will allow shots to land in order for you to get yours in........ Rockin'
Yes...... your body control has to be off the charts to use the philly shell. Most dont have the gift
I think some guys just can't do it due to lack of shoulder flexibility. Betro will always be **** it at but realistically he can't even lift his shoulder up to cover his chin it's like he has no flexibility in his shoulders.
