I always looked for the solar plex shot weither it was an upper cut or straight right hand. I tried to bury it deep! Also hook to the kidney punching from the back to the forward degree to see if I could shake it up abit! Thats a very painfull area and sometimes it takes more than a minute to partially recover and at times you get a delayed reaction to it!! I liked what Broner was doing the other night to Paulie when he was chopping down on Paulies left side to slow down his jabboing! Punching ribs from under and downward can be devasting if you have the sharp shots and power to make your opponent keep their elbows down. I was taught to throw your first straight power hand punches under the heart! First not to head hunt at the beginning plus thats an area that can be "tenderized" to the point where tightness occurs and again your opponent begins to debilitate! Te best punch however is the one not SEEN! It doesn't hurt but then again the fights over! hahaha HA!! Ray
