Don't give in to the pseudoscience and exaggerated claims.
There's benefits to green tea but it's not magic and it's not any "better" than other caffeine sources in regards to weight management.
And as far as health goes, black coffee for example has antioxidants, lowers risk of heart disease, lowers risk of Parkinson's and dementia, and protects from type 2 diabetes and some cancers.
It has significantly more caffeine than green tea which is both a pro and a con. It raises metabolism much more, it's vastly better at reducing hunger, but it can increase blood pressure and be more addictive. It's also more acidic than tea so if you have stomach issues it would exasperate them.
There's nothing wrong with drinking either tea or coffee, or both, as long as you don't pour sugar and milk in to them and make sure not to OD on caffeine.
