What race are you?

I'm asking this purely on curiousity. Whats your racial background?

Well, although Hispanic isn't really a race but more like a mix of various races, I selected Hispanic because that is what I am, that's what I identify myself as. To be a bit more specific, I am a Mestizo Mexican which means that I am a mix of 2 different races which are Native American/Indigenous and European/Spanish.

The majority of Mexicans are Mestizo like I am. They are part white through their Spanish ancestry and part Native American through their Indigenous ancestry. But not all Mexicans are Mestizo. Some are full Native American and some are full European descent so you have some that look like the guys in the Movie Apocalypto and some that look like Canelo the red headed boxer.

Then in southeast part of Mexico you have a small population of Mexicans that are descendants of 3 races which are European, Native, and African all mixed together. They look more like the Puerto Rican Hispanics and the Cuban Hispanics because of the introduction of the Africans to that part of the coast during slavery.
