yeah that's pretty good. In winter (where i am winters are very mild) i like natural rolled oats with warm milk, sliced bannana and honey. Prison food i call it.
Breakfast should have carbs and protein. Most people eat cereal......99% of breakfast cereals are terrible for your health. They have high sugar and salt content. A full fried eggs, bacon and hash brown breakfast is 10 times better than most cereals.
Anyway i also like, if i'm not lazy or eating breakfast at a cafe:
- Poached eggs on rye/wheat toast with fetta cheese, sliced tomatoes and steamed spinach + glass of milk.
- Traditional omlette (just spring onions----> what you Yanks call shallots) and fruit salad.
- rye/wheat toast with ricotta cheese and smoked salmon slices.
All these have a good mix of proteins and carbs.

I used to like eating Quaker oats also, but with honey. Seemed like a good breakfast and it is cheap and easy to make. I would make it by just boiling the water in a ketel then pouring the water on the oats in the bowl with a plate over the bowl for 10 min, worked good.
For awile I just ate fruit for breakfast after reading a book that said it was a healthier breakfast, called "Fit for Life". The diet basicly recommended not to combine different foods together. The book said "fruit is best for breakfast".
My faviorite is poached eggs on toast, cheap, healthy and I like the taste.

try this once a week...cook some oatmeal in water with cinnamon and equal or some other sugar substitute, when it comes out, add a little bit of cinnamon toast crunch. add 1 teaspoon of wheat germ, 1 teaspoon of flax seed.drink 2 cups of coffee after the meal.
cleans you out. I know that's gross, but this is a really good breakfast even without the flax or wheat.

Omelette with 1 egg +egg whites. Add any veggies you want, some salsa and a little bit of low fat cheese. Some baked beans (not in the omelette), and a piece of whole grain or rye toast with peanut butter.
Blueberry pancakes are my favourite breakfast if I want something unhealthy.

I like to have a big piece of cake and some gummy bears, some times ice cream too.
what you eat isnt nearly as important as eating.
you could eat cake every day for b-fast....you might not lose much weight if thats your goal but i garuentee youll lose alot more weight then if you were to eat cake every day for dinner plus all the carbs from cake gives you plenty of energy to start your day.
though when im out of cake i love high fiber brown sugar and maple syrup oatmeal mixed with some cream of wheat and a dash of steel cut oats (for texture) with a big glass of milk for protein.
