I remember people laughed when i said punching a wooden fence can harden your knuckle

    btw Iron Fist training is not a hardening of the knuckles but of the wrist so that the become compressed.....and like i said only the people who have been training some 50+ years hit iron....and its not like they are stroking it like a heavy bag

      It is true. And every time I mentioned it around anybody they would look at like like if i was crazy.

      its an old technique tho.

            Anyway, this is ******ed for all the reasons described above. You don't see him punching those trees, do you? He's hardening bones, not joints. And that's more for checking leg kicks than actual strikes, anyway. Try again, dip****.

              the last thing a hard puncher needs to do is punch something to "toughen the hands". i have a hard enough time hitting the bag with my hands gauzed with 16 oz gloves. this is ******ed. do knuckle pushups, and go from your fingertips to your knuckles (explosively) and back in pushup position. thats more than you need. enjoy your hand problems.

              oh and no b33f if this is for your shins. you gotta take care of your hands better than punching wood... ****.

                a professional thai muay tai fighters average career lasts less than 5 years. most are considered over the hill by the age of 25. I love muay tai ive done it for 5 years but the condition is insane.

                  You've probably also heard of the Legendary Iron Ballz aswell. It's an ancient technique that I've employed for years. It generally started for me at a very young age on the tettor-toter. I was standing there with the end of the teetor-totter between my legs. I told my buddy to jump on the other end for me, WHAP!! My nads took the blow as I crumpled to the ground in pain.

                  Later, when I grew some fuzz I found another technique. In the locker room after a shower I'd whip out my junk, open the locker and set my nads right where the locker closes. Have a buddy give it a good front kick and WHAP!!! My nads took the blow as I crumpled to the ground in pain.

                  Now that I am so seasoned at the Iron Ballz technique I enjoy going to night clubs and whispering dirty little words in the pretty ladies ears. Most hear the words, step back and give me a swift kick in the nads. WHAP!!! My nadz take the blow as I crumble to the ground in pain.

                  Now granted, after all of this punishment my nads have grown thicker and calused and have become more accustomed to excepting the blows as the years have gone on.

                  My latest technique has taken me all over the world as I take my nadz to the limit. I now am in a world renowned circus working in the baseball throwing tent. Customers throw basenalls at my nadz but few have good aim after their alcoholic adventures with the circus. But every once in awhile a young person with pin point accuracy will unload a cannon into my nutz. WHAP!!!! My nutz except the blow as I crumble to the ground in pain.


                  You are never too old to start using this masterfull ancient technique. Now when I ride my motorcycle I like to whip out my junk and I am now able to take out mailboxes as I go speeding by, WHAP!!!! I crash and tumble as I lay there crumbled up in pain.

                  You should start today and very soon you too could posses

                    First of all, if you are serious about "hardening up" your knuckles you gotta understand that barely any hardening comes to the actual knuckle area. What happens after a prolonged punching is that the nerves in around your knuckle area(first two knuckles actualy) die out.The quality of the punching actually increases after a prolonged training of wrist and forearm muscles. But you dont need to punch walls to become good at punching, in fact your longevity will always suffer from all sorts of injuries.

                      Monks will sit and lightly hit theirs fists off of an iron anvil or slab of iron placed in front of them. They do this constantly when they are sitting down. If you ever notice the size of their fists, they're massive. What happens is the bone will crack, calcium will seep out and harden creating bigger, denser, stronger bone... Or something to that effect. It has been years since I have seen it but you don't hit it hard, you just lightly tap it over and over with your fist.

                      The monk, who had massive fists, said "If you hit iron, your fists will become iron."

                      I will try to find a copy of it on youtube. It was on the discovery chan or something a few years ago.
