I usually set punishments on myself if I am not able to complete the exercises.

I remember one time I was unable to bench a certain weight the amount of reps my coach told me, so I did push ups until I ripped the muscles in both my biceps.

Never fell short on any exercise since.

I just think about where I am trying to get. How losing is not an option and if that there is a person out there who is working harder than me that makes me push harder to out work whoever I face. The thought of not being successful is a sure winner.

I tell myself that giving up is not an option and that there is nothing worse than a quitter.
