    anyone in NYC

ever trained at new york boxing inc/brotherhood club in ridgewood queens ? or Mendez in manhattan? im looking to join one of these

brotherhood's cheaper than Mendez I believe. Brotherhood also has the necessary paperwork for your passport if you need to get one. Mendez is nice, they have two places within 4 blocks of each other, but they are expensive as hell, about 150-180 a month. Thats crazy. Shemuel Pagan Carlos Tejron (sp?) train there. Brotherhood has more fighters I believe than Mendez. Mendez has fighters for sure but they also have more white collars. (in case you're wondering who has a more fighter filled gym).

im not training at the moment. Recovering from knee surgery. UBG is in ozone park, yeah thats far from you, brooklyn has more gyms. You should check out Sadam Ali's new gym in bay ridge. its about 150 a month too with trainer. (expensive for me as well) Sometimes you have to make sacrifices, you might have to go to UBG if money is an issue and you can afford this gym plus a trainer. You should check out NY's PALs. check out , they have all the licensed gyms in the ny metro area.

Yeah I was at Sadam Ali's new gym when it opened. Nice gym and its 150/month with a trainer included, which is what they told me. My younger brother loves it there but its too far from my spot in Manhattan. So I opted to stay at my boxing club in Manhattan.

I go to a Cops N Kids program in Broklyn on 3301 Foster Ave. They are free, only a 50 dollar registration fee, and most of the people there are adults, not children. They have two Golden gloves winners, and a up and coming pro who trains there every now and then. The number is 917-682-6997 and they are open Monday- Friday 3pm- 7:15pm.

Paulie doesnt train at evolution....That was just to train for the Khan fight. He's a starret city/gleasons guy.....I grew up seeing him at both. Far from being the trash talking a$$hole he seems to be on TV. On the contrary, he's laid back and funny......Starret city is a good idea. My boy Will Rosinsky used to train there. His best bet are the PAL's if money's an issue. Plus cops n kids in brooklyn as mentioned by Yael is a good spot, they have GG champs all the time.
