Funny coming from you. A guy who has never boxed, yet gives out advice left and right like he knows what he's talking about.

Where do I begin? I've seen posts from you giving advice on how to throw combinations, footwork, how to improve punching speed. All things that someone with experience should be giving advice on. YOU HAVE NEVER BOXED!!! You don't know what the *** you're talking about. You need to have experienced these things first hand, which you have not. You are delusional. Some poor kid who doesn't know any better is going to take your word for it and create bad habits, or seriously injure himself.

im almost positive ive never given advice on combinations.

and what was wrong with my foot work advice other then having to deal with you repeating the same thing i said a few posts after me except instead of raising your heel when punching you describe it as putting out a cig with your toes.

improving punch speed i believe my advice for that was either that you have to jab more to get faster at jabbing and throw hooks to get faster at hooking. the other advice was a very good core and shoulder exercise involving the rotation of you upper torso that essentially mimics hooks. it improves your dynamic flexibility while improving the coordination of movement from the ground to your fist. if you perform it in a quick manner it will improve speed as well.

btw you didnt point out what advice i gave that was wrong you just pointed out advice that you assume i shouldn't be giving even though it was still good advice.

There are minor technical details in boxing that if taught improperly, could be the difference between winning or getting knocked out. Again, you would know this if you actually boxed, but you never have, therefore should not be giving out any advice whatsoever.

so i guess no one here that boxes in a fights has a trainer or spars to test things out?

I know anything i hear online im gonna test out sparing as well as ask my trainer about it. every bit of advice i give has some kind of helpful value and what is left out im sure will be caught by their trainer and if not then i guess its not that important.

some one that dosnt have a trainer isnt fighting in boxing matches and anything i tell them in the correct direction is better then what they already know.

as far as recovery and stretching im sure a boxer knows best.......
