I found from perdsonal experience that it does indeed help. It is a good idea to get hydrated before you go though. Down some juice and water when you get up, and if you are a hevayweight have some raw egg whites with pepper too.

technically, your body goes into starvation mode if you try to work out on an empty stomach. basically what this means is that the next time that your body gets any type good carbs and fats, they will be stored in your body as fat. therefore, exercising without proper nutrition beforehand is not a good idea if you're looking for weight loss. eating the right kinds of food in correct portions before exercise will stimulate weight loss and will actually increase your metabolism in such a way that eating will power your body and allow you to lose weight. hope this helps...

Exercising without eating leads to muscle catabolism and an increase in laying down fat.

So you'll lose muscle size, strength, and put on more fat with fasted cardio.

A banana, and pull your elbows in and turn your lead hand out a little so it is like your right hand. It looks like you are gonna punch yourself in the head lol.

Yep, or maybe two. according to what I read
"Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout"

although the research is not shown
