You don't have any control over his preparation and conditioning so you would be making a total guess to strategize based on that.

Be honest with yourself about what you bring to the table and do very well in fights would be my advice and utilize that.

Pressure. Just pressure him. That doesn’t necessarily mean fighting like Benavidez. It means constant activity, Do not allow any lulls.

but that means you need to be sure your conditioning is better. You should be able to find the rhythm faster than him, so that’s what I would do.

I do not know how you fight or train or how he fights and train. But based on the info given, this is what would work best.

You cant generalize on this, you gotta have specific fighters.

Marciano is always the way. The problem is most can't Marciano their way through an entire fight without ending up Marciano'd themselves.

Maybe Marciano to start, Pep in-between, and Marciano to finish?

Amateur or Pro? How many rounds? How old are the fighters?

                  So, weigh-ins were today:

                  I weighed 184
                  My opponent 214

Commission won't approve it. I was only paid half my travel. Had to buy a hotel because the promoter didn't give me the hotel information until after the weigh-ins. Drove 12 hours. Promoter wants me to wear weights to make weight. I can't even think straight.

Lol.. like... The next time you watch a boxing match, understand what it takes for two men to actual get into a ring.

Most cases shouldn't the promoter pay all expenses if fight is not approved:?

I'm not really too sure how it works. I'm going to reach out to the commission and see what they say.
