There’s every combination of everything. Fast hands but less power. Slow hands but power. Or any different combination. Some fighters have fast happy feet but lousy balance and footwork. Some fighters have slower feet but do all the right things.
AJ has size 16 feet. I’m sure he can run very quick in a straight line once up to speed. Still he’s not built to float like a butterfly in the ring. Canelo always had fast hands and his feet were much less so. He has improved a lot with his feet through experience and better technique. He used to have to step back and reset after each combo he threw.
I’m right handed but my left hand is my best hand when it comes to boxing. If I played street ball hockey as goalie my left glove hand was my best asset. I can’t dribble a basket ball with my left hand worth beans. One thing doesn’t guarantee another. It’s pretty interesting. Nobody gets it all. It’s what makes things compelling.

Ricky Hatton. He could close the distance so quickly with his feet but his handspeed was much slower. Floyd trying to time him coming in and he closes the distance so quick floyd can only get off one shot before theyre clinched again.
Then Ruiz, slow mover but quick hands especially for a fat guy
