Recently the temperature has been melting hot. It's around 94 degrees and I thought it was just going to be an average session but since my gym doesn't have ac or high speed fans (only ceiling fans) it was different that day. So I stroll on inside and it was more hot inside then it was outside. The humidity had to be in the 90%'s. I was sweating by just walking on in there. So my partner and I started doing the warm up routine and I noticed I'm slower than usual. Then I shadowboxed and my shirt was already drenched in sweat and by the 3rd round I was tired which I'm never tired at. Then it was time for me to put my gloves on and hit the shield and after a 2 minutes of a round I was dead tired. So Today I said **** it I cant deal with this hot sun and humidity. How do You guys like in Vegas or Florida do it in this weather?

Actually training in warmer environments decreases the chance of injury

in canberra, Australia where i live it is somewhat cold in winter (usually min -3 or so and max like 8 or 9 degrees celsius, not farenheit) and in summer it can get pretty damn hot, usually around 35-40 degrees celsius or above that in the day
so in the real bad heat in january or february we usually just train without shirts or in light tank tops, stay really hydrated (drink lots in the lead up to training too) and yeah thats basically the key
the positive of training in the summer heat is you can make weight much easier, the amount of weight you can drop training hard in hot weather and eating well is crazy

i hate training in hot, i train when its cool around 4:30-8:30pm because the temp in daytime can soar to 35-40c inside in the gym.

This is my first summer in the gym as well, and the 85-90 degree days with 80-90% humidity is a b*tch! No AC just ceiling fans and 1 open door. As odd as it sounds though, I actually like it... I mean I do feel more drained after the workout but I guess if you’re not tired then you’re not training hard enough. On days I work out I try and drink a lot of water & Gatorade before the gym so I’m plenty hydrated. You’re only going to be able to cool your body off so much, so I think a lot has to do with nutrition and what you eat & drink before hand. What you should eat/ drink I don’t know, but it sounds good
