    Help!

Well yesterday I sparred with some people(about 4) I box with some older people and some kids, mostly older. I only have about 5 months of boxing. I can say I'm pretty decent and maybe abit sloppy but... I was sparring with one of these dudes and he kept on rushing and just throwing punches and I just didn't know what to do =[ Anyone can give me any tips? I try to duck but he catches me and like he just still comes after me. I couldn't land a solid punch at all. So can anyone give me any tips on how to fight pressure fighters? thanks =]

It is difficult to provide a remedy until one correctly understands the problem. Your description gives the impression that neither you nor your sparring partner know how to box. Perhaps you need to go back to the fundamentals? Anybody with good fundamentals can beat aggressive opponents who throw punches at random. Look at what Oscar De La Hoya did to Ricardo Mayorga, or Floyd Mayweather vs. Ricky Hatton.

Work on your stamina, your jab, your defense and your head movement.
Keep the jab on him, when he starts to come inside slip his punches and try to catch him with an uppercut or a hook.
Or try to be aggressive back, assuming he isnt more powerful than you, then it might throw him off his game a lil.

But yeah what one of the other guys said, you might be better off going back and looking at your game, what you've got, work on the basics, I've only been boxing 6/7 months, so we're still new to the sport m8

Stand there and hit him really hard, continue to do so if he keeps coming. Or hit him with a big ass uppercut. You need to make him feel the pain and get what he deserves for trying to be aggressive.

I also find pushing and shoving an opponent like this around helps.
