Grant vs Cleto Reys for heavybag work.

I'd recommend using the winning gloves only for sparring, and getting another pair for heavy bag and mitts.

I actually use my Winnings for heavybag work and mittwork and my Grants training gloves for sparring only.

Try out ringside imf tech for your bag gloves and then use your winning for mit and sparring. You dont want to break down your winning on the bags since they cost more to replace. You dont want to injure your hands during bagwork so get a pretty decent protective glove that is ok for bagwork i.e ringside imf tech. As for grant idk if i could recoment them on the bags, they offer good support but the knuckle padding is a little shorted with alot of extra room in the pocket.

For the Grants there is alot of space inbetween your knuckles and the actual padding, if you wrap your hands with any type of pad on the knuckles you should be good. But i still wouldnt recomend them for bag gloves, these 2 types are for sparring. They will probably break down in less time then you are used to.
I would go with the ringside imf tech for your bag gloves and then just use winning for mitt and sparring.Last edited by I3C727; 03-29-2009, 08:08 PM.
