    On a 14 day water fast.

    Want to clean out my system a bit getting bad skin and carrying a few pounds.

    Will let you know how i get on.

          Why not get into a cleanse program have you tried that? All the weight will come right back on if you starve yourself.

            worse: now you have a certain metabolic rate. When your body is starving it will take energy from the muscle, thus decreasing the metabolic rate.

            When you'll start eating again your hunger will be the same, but you metabolic rate and protein synthesis capacity will be much lower, thus you'll gain your weight mostly in fat.

              agreed...... unless you had a religious reason to starve yourself its just ******.

                  I fast once a year always feel great in head and body after a 2wk clense.

                  Naturally the human body is used to going long spells not eating. After around 4 days you notice the difference.
