    how do you know if you have good power?

    hmm im not sure sure what pushing a punch is, but i learned to snap your punches.

    also power can be determined from a heavy bag, but i dunno , a lot of guys can hit the bag hard , so fights are where it matters for sure...

    but jus snap those punches , use your shoulders and hips to turn into your punches, its a TON of power, and also leaning your body side to side, if u get in that motion then lean left n come back right with a left hand, and add the hip n shoulder movement, thats MAX power

    i ****in rock my bag back when i do all 3. thats how i do it..

    if i jus wanna hit semi light, ill jus use my hip/shoulder turn... if i want it to hurt, i add a snap... if i wanna throw to knock u out, add a snap and a lean / load up

      when you spar someone and you catch them with a clean punch and they take a knee or stagger or go down, then you know you have power

        No it doesnt,I had a video where i was punching a 100lb bag with restraints and ppl thought i was pushing my punches cause the bag was flying everywhere.Well then i threw some sparring videos on and it sorta died down.

        but dont keep your fist on the bag to long and wait for it to come back to u so u can punch it,do let it get away from u and then punch it

                well yesterday i was in the punching bag and started hitting like crazy **** it really made some stress relief

                but i kinda dont know exactly on when you punch because some of the power comes from placing you punch in for example a punch in the forehead is different effect then a punch in the liver or chin

                  i know i hit hard just cause the pro at my gym who's a power puncher told me i hit hard, but thats a given since im 6"1 200 pounds with low body fat

                    When u hit peeps and they go to sleep!!!
                    Im a puncher myself AM record - 5-4-0 (3) Which im told is an excellent stoppage % in AM boxing but i dont follow it! U can usually IMO just tell if sum1 hits hard by watching them on the bag - Big Dents left in bag and loud thudds as the punches land but thats just my opinion.
