How much will the weight factor affect Toney-Peter?

Peter weighed in at 257, his heaviest weight of his career; Toney weighed in at 233, 7 lbs less than his last fight.

How much does the weight factor affect the performance of Toney and Peter? Is it a critical factor in the outcome of tonight's bout?

For Toney to come in 7lbs lighter than in his last fight, it tells me that he's been training harder because he's taking this fight more serious. Maybe he's even been running.

For Peter to come in at his heaviest, it tells me one of two possibilities:

First, he could've bulked up so that he would be the much bigger man and able to tire James out when fighting on the inside.

The second possibility is that Peter hasn't trained properly and as a result put on extra weight. This could spell major trouble for Peter if the fight goes on into the later rounds. If he runs outa gas, Toney will Ko him with his pin point accurate punches.

No way will Toney be punched out in this fight. He's lost some lbs and is the best in the game at conserving energy when he goes defensive.

As I've been saying for quite a while... it is THE factor. I don't believe Peter can KO toney just given Toney's chin and fighting style... but throwing big punches and landing a few will win him the early rounds.... assuming he doesn't gas himself out and can stay moderately competetive against Toney in the later rounds he can win with a UD.

If Toney is out of shape a lot there's a chance he gets caught... if Peter is out of shape a lot he can't hit Toney at all in the mid-later rounds and will get UD'd, and possibly KO'd if he just gives up and tires out completely.
