In general I look at adjustments made, a fighters judgement of his/her opponent, application of skill sets, and ability to follow a gameplan.
In reference to Caleb. I’ve probably watched about 8 fights of his, 4 of which he hurt his hand. He had to adjust and apply other skill sets not only to secure the win, but to appear unphased.
I feel like he also judges his opponents well based of what they present in the ring. He picks his spots well as we saw when he decided to **** intermittently with Jose U. Lastly, he listens to his corner and follows a gameplan.
Ring IQ in my opinion isn’t just about making adjustments. With that said, I’m in no way saying he has great ring IQ...I just said he has a good boxing brain. Canelo outboxes him and hurts him.

Plant has hand speed and that’s what Canelo has avoided like the plague during this so-called unbelievable run he’s been on. It still probably won’t be enough but I want to see Canelo against different types of fighters.
Hand speed and solid jab is pretty much what Plant has to offer, but doesn't have the footwork of Saunders and he's orthodox. Neither has much pop and I think Plant might have a worse gas tank. Think it's an easier fight for Canelo than Saunders was
