I think Sanchez helped to emphasize the jab to GGG. The jab is the most important punch in the game. GGG has one of the best ones I've ever seen. If you do the math on all that, I don't think you can say Sanchez was a negative on GGG's career, especially from a pure boxing perspective.
The dude has an ATG jab. What other boxing skills can you expect a fighter to have? Not every guy is going to do every single boxing skill out there lol. In fact no guy is elite in every area, we know that. I would say Sanchez did just fine for GGG. But at the same time, I think their time had come to an end as well. GGG looked good last fight with Banks.

Ggg looked “good” against the weakest damn bum they can find smh cmon man you’re better than that.
That fight was a disgrace shouldn’t even have been sanctioned.

The point wasn't to hype up that win - it was to point out that GGG fought Kamil much the same way that he fought his earlier foes - behind the jab and very clinically and got the job done pretty easily.
I think Sanchez deserves a lot of credit for helping GGG along the way. He seems to be fighting similarly now under Banks, maybe adding a couple wrinkles. I personally think he would have been a great fighter regardless, but I think Abel helped to emphasize the jab to him, which he seems to have got back to now. Didn't really use it much vs Derevy.
