    Why would he do that?

Joshua isn’t Gonna have any titles after the Fury fight, even Usyk said Fury is the best heavyweight out there, so he’s not exactly gonna have confidence in Joshua having any titles after agreeing a step aside fee.

The best thing for Usyk to do would be get a vacant title and then try and get a unification with Fury after the Joshua fights, or he can defend against Joshua if Joshua hasn’t retired.

Plus Usyk can pick up an easy title, defend it a few times and then his worth will grow because he’s a champion. that’s basically what Joshua did, Joshua never beat any good champions but grew his brand being a champion that way.

So he should try to get that vacant and title try to unify with fury afterwards, or even defend against Joshua for good money. Refusing to step aside and probably getting the vacant title will be a great move.

The only thing the majority of heavyweights have over Usyk is size and the subsequent power. I don't think Usyk would beat AJ, definitely not Fury, and I'm not quite sure about Whyte, but anybody else is there for the taking. Parker, Ruiz, Pulev, Hunter, Povetkin, Ducktay Whiner, I'd pick Usyk over all of them.

If Usyk stays in the game for the next five years or so, I'm betting he'll surprise a lot of people.
Better IQ than a guy from a boxing family, who’s better schooled in the sweet science than Usyk with a superb amateur pedigree?

What does Usyk do in the ring that shows he has a better boxing IQ? Don’t cite the Glassiev fight because Glassiev is a caveman with no amateur background and zero boxing IQ - he’s that crude.

Usyk’s is basic as fcck and he won most of his fights due to his workrate. Workrate =/= boxing IQ. The only time he faced anyone with a decent boxing IQ was against Breidis and it could’ve gone either way.

Apart from the bum, Wilder, and Hunter - I’d favour all the names there to beat Usyk and a couple of them will knock him out.

Anyway, he had the Povetkin fight but ran from it citing political reasons. Povetkin beats him even at age 43. He’s too crafty for a guy like Usyk.

Still if I were Usyk I´d fancy my chances against Joshua. Fury is a different kind of beast.

But both Joshua (last 3 fights) and Fury (Wallin) have had their off nights too with substandard fights. One does wonder if Joshua left something in the ring in the first Ruiz fight.
If Wallin could go the distance and hurt Fury badly, I guess Usyk can do more damage than that. The hype job on Fury will be exposed soon.

Just can't to see him in the ring with AJ.

"Hearn has a promotional deal with Usyk and could make him an offer that would see the WBO belt on the line for Joshua-Fury, before the winner drops the belt straight after." ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

Usyk had success at cruiserweight because he had a height and reach advantage over all his opponents at that weight.(Won't have these advantages against the IG dogs at heavyweight.)

Those physical advantage coupled with really good fundamentals and a good workrate he became undisputed cruiserweight champion.

Usyk the cruiserweight was great at using his height and reach to control range. He would have to change his style at heavyweight without these advantages he had at cruiserweight and he hasn't yet. He's not hard to hit and doesn't have the necessary power to keep the big heavyweights honest.

Honestly only top heavyweight I see him beating is maybe Joseph Parker.

Fury stops him. Joshua and Wilder put him in intensive care unit.

Where did he have fury hurt badly in that fight? 🤔 I don’t remember any time fury looking “hurt”

When most fighters is “Hurt” they usually get stunned or something. And if they hurt to the body, usually end up on they knees. If you could tell me the round I’ll give it a watch now, to try seeing what you saw?

The really sad thing for us Hardcore fans is, Eddie Hearn knows his market. Most people I grew up with rave about AJ.
When I ask what they see that I don’t, they tend to go back to “Well that Eddie Hearn says so”

Casual fans are easy to lead. Point them to the next “Glitzy Event” and they are their!
