I really don't have issue with Dubois and how he ended the fight. There was something seriously wrong with that eye. His corner failed him and didn't see he was in distress over that eye. People sitting on their couch saying he needed to go out like a warrior on his shield. How about if that's your eye? Dubois is young and may have saved his long term vision with his decision. He seemed pretty gutted after the fact but certainly not regretting his decision.
His corner definitely need to take some blame with the all thing. They could have protected him since they know their man.... Every single former boxer are talking about him quitting, and those are facts.

Yes his eye was broken as stated now, but his corner could have done something in that regards. Pull him out, he is still young, but to make him quit by himself??? I feel sorry for him.

One of the other issues is that people throw the quit label around more often when the injury is less apparent to the viewer. Had DuBois's eyebrow looked like Rahman's swelling, people would be less critical. However just because it looks terrible doesn't mean it is terrible and vice versa. Dadashev didn't look all that bad but we had no clue his brain was pulverized. He went out on his shield and won't be labeled a quitter but he paid the ultimate price in the process.

Whyte should shut his mouth and get in with joe if hes man enough, joe would break both whytes eye sockets and his ribs and hopefully uppercut his bottom jaw and cut his tongue into two bits

Joe would have obliterated whyte last night ,whyte wouldnt make a dent in joe but joe sure would make a dent in whyte

Any heavyweight boxer with Fujimoto on their resume is a fraud. No disrespect for Japanese, but there isn't a decent heavyweight boxer in their country or history. How so many experts were taken in is beyond me. Lartey was a red flag, Fujimoto was a vote of no confidence.

Some are ready to leave this planet and there's not many people around like Fury. I'm not saying anything against Dubios, I really hope he comes back for his sake so he can provide for himself and make some money for his family but he would quit against anyone pushing him till the end.
Why would I be emotional...I’m not connected and wasn’t particularly pulling for either (they’re both English by the way).
Dubois might have made the most sensible decision he’s ever likely to make considering the update on his eye.
I hope he comes back fully fit and gets to work his way up properly, preferably in a better camp away from Warren.

Good to see another English guy in the top ten - fair play to Joe and I hope he gets a shot. I’d love to see him run Whyte over at some point.

if or when he fights again it should be after a long rest and a restructured team , This one isn’t progressive enough . No head movement , very stiff and atrocious instructions coming from the corner ..

I just wonder how some of these idiots who post on here would post with a broken eye socket ....the pain must be unbelievable and can't see either with a seventeen stone lump somewhere around trying to render you unconscious.....you are truly unbelievable!

Dubois needs other fights to boost his confidence now. He should fight Efe Ajagba, Efetobor or other C level guys. Doubt if he would win them now

Josh Taylor will be the next British hype job to quit in a major fight. Mark my words. I see it coming, especially if he fights one of the big dawgs at welterweight.

Josh won't fall at his weight , if he moves up there's guys like Spence and Crawford to deal with which he may not.
