By this time even Ramirez's own fans must realize that he isn't interested in testing himself against top competition.

Ramirez needs to be trying to fight Canelo or Benavidez

Here I was just asking about him in another thread and I see this article. It will be good to see him come back and hopefully make a dent in the LHW division. Add him to the list of potential Canelo opponents soon.

Yeah instead of making a million or so headlining on Espn he'll make almost nothing putting on his own ppv. So what if he keeps more of his own money? Would you rather 1/3rd of 3 million or 100 percent of 50 grand! Obviously these numbers are an example but your logic doesn't add up. He was a **** hair away from making the kind of money Crawford and Loma are making and now he's going to bomb on a ppv nobody will watch

Whatever it takes to get this kid in the ring. This also could be a way to get the fights he wanted when TR kept him from anything with a name. Seemed like he kept chasing promises from Arum and Moreti but could only catch a undefeated fighter from another part of the world whom TR wanted to give some publicity to. Hopefully Ramirez picks up where he left off. Get it going Zurdo! Glad your back!! I can feel the panic already from the rest of the LHW division.

Ramirez had the chance to unify with Smith after he said he'd like that fight. But as soon as Arum and Hearn start talking about making it, Ramirez is running off up to Lightweight.

He wants nothing to do with the top fighters. And if he does ever get in there with one of them, they'll show him why he wasn't too keen in the first place by beating him back to the small time where he truly belongs.

He has a Wilder like resume which tells you everything one would need to know. It's atrocious.

First off Smith wanted no part of Ramirez. All this kid did was beat everyone they threw to him. BTW that was everyone and all the while trying to make 168 in thay frame of his. Which he did! Shows how profesional this guy is. Zurdo would have handled Smith and taught him a thing or five by the end of the fight. At 175 he is a wrecking machine and only a fool would think otherwise. Can't wait to watch him prove it!

                    Huh?

When did Smith want no part of him? That is fantasy. What i said is fact. How you turn that situation around is beyond me. Show me evidence and it not being fantasy?

Callum has beaten everyone they've thrown at him too. And? What is your point?

You talk about what it takes to make 168 in his frame when we're talking about Callum Smith here?

Smith is the vastly superior boxer. Ramirez only taught a lesson in running when both promoters were actually going to make the fight. Callum was on board but then confused when he ran away. But it's something we're used to over here when it comes to Mexicans and Americans.

He's a wreaking machine because he's knocked over a load of complete cans? I think you mean only a fool would think he's a wreaking machine after doing absolutely nothing. I mean, who doesn't wreak that level of opposition or better?

I think you'll be waiting a very long time to see him prove anything. Just like Wilder and the likes of Andrade. All talk and no action.
