Imagine if he was a calf-hair more rounded. Would've gotten the decisions over Trinidad, Mayweather, Mosley, possibly Hopkins.
Then we look at like as a Top 5 ATG.

He had good speed, solid power, good defense, threw nice combinations, good footwork and a great chin. I truly can't find any weaknesses in De La Hoya.

He had no real in ring weaknesses but that, while uncommon, isn't rare either.
Short answer is none.
Long answer is, his weaknesses were out of the ring. If he didn't party so hard and deal with depression, and also try and box "part time" while he was a promoter, his HOF career could have been that much more magnificent.
Your assessment is also wrong in that he does nothing great, his jab and left hook were the definition of great.
Guys like Sweet Pea, Floyd, ODLH, Fury, these types of fighters beat themselves more than opponents beat them. Complete fighters all of them with no real flaws.
